Abortion access is heavily restricted under Kansas law, with a 22-week ban, 24-hour waiting period and mandatory ultrasound in place, among other provisions.

Hasselbeck said in response. “And I also think sometimes in Christianity we need to offer more mercy. We need to not shame women in hard situations.”

Goldberg countered that God gave women "freedom of choice" and "made us smart enough to know when it wasn’t going to work for us.

Goldberg added that she does not judge people who have an abortion because she was taught: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Hasselbeck responded, "I don’t believe in giving women half the information out there." She went on to encourage adoption and have pregnant people look into nonprofit agencies
